The main street in Dayboro comes alive every year on the last Sunday in May.  That’s when the Dayboro Day Festival is held, incorporating our Antique & Collectables Fair at the Dayboro Show grounds.

 

Dayboro Day Festival

Since 1991 this festival has grown to attract over 20,000 visitors to our beautiful country town. Dayboro is located at the foot of the D’Aguilar Ranges, 21 km’s N/W of Petrie. Come and experience a touch of rural hospitality from our historical town.

Our festival just gets bigger and better each year.  This year will be no exception.

Our line up of events & attractions includes:

  • Antique & Collectables Fair
  • Combined Church Service
  • Kids ‘Passport to Fun’
  • Street parade
  • Official opening & Awards ceremonies
  • Waterless raft race
  • Pineapple pie eating competition
  • Helicopter rides

 

  • Homemade Jams, Lollies and Cakes many made be local groups
  • Heaps of craft stalls

  • A massive book stall operated by our Dayboro Scouts
  • Grocery Wheel run by Dayboro State School
  • Dayboro Historical Society Display in Council Building
